Transforming Today’s Extension for Tomorrow’s Possibilities

As Cooperative Extension employees, we each make important contributions to our collective success. Whether it’s supporting colleagues and the organization, providing a solid foundation for educational programs through research or building capacity in one of the state’s 72 counties, your work transforms and enhances the lives of the people of Wisconsin.

A Word from Dean Karl Martin

I am so proud to be the dean of Cooperative Extension. In my nearly four years with this great organization, I have witnessed unparalleled commitment to our mission, willingness to rise above challenges and colleagues reaching out helping hands to each other, to partners and to communities throughout Wisconsin. What I haven’t seen nearly enough of is all of our colleagues together in one place discussing our shared mission. The 2018 All-Colleague Conference is meant to change that.

I have spent the past few months thinking about what makes for a great gathering of colleagues and having informal conversations with many of you and discussions with the Cabinet. I hope you will find the time you spend at the All-Colleague Conference useful and energizing. I hope you learn something new and have your questions answered. I hope you walk away feeling appreciated, rooted in Cooperative Extension’s rich history and energized to continue your work. As always, I appreciate your thoughts and look forward to our shared time at the 2018 All-Colleague Conference.
