2/27/01 UWEX satellite videoconference targeted to grandparents raising grandchildren and professionals from agencies and organizations that assist them.  Topics covered include: similarities and differences among various types of custodial care; the ways legal and policy issues including TANF, school regulations and access to medical care can impact grandparents raising grandchildren; strategies for effective working relationships between grandparents and professional and community resources and success stories showing how grandparents and professionals have worked with policy makers to make changes in state laws. Primer on Nutrition Assistance Programs (#18672)

Two-part January, 2004 WisLine Web presentation focusing on the basics of major federal nutrition assistance programs.  Each program discussed eligibility requirements, how to enroll and trends in program participation.  The January 14 program (90:00) focused on WIC and the Senior Dining Program.  School meals and Child nutrition programs were the subjects of the January 28 presentation.  (80:00).
