Organizational Climate

Organizational Climate

In Cooperative Extension, we strive to create an organization that values all colleagues for who they are and what they contribute.  We strive to offer colleagues support and commitment from others so they can do their best work.  We encouraging input on issues that impact the organization, listen to all voices, and then following through with actions that represent equity and fairness.   An inclusive climate is essential to the resiliency and sustainability of Cooperative Extension.

The University of Wisconsin-Extension recently surveyed colleagues and ask about their personal experiences working in the institution.  The responses will be the benchmarks for determining what Cooperative Extension needs to do to make our organization more welcoming and appreciative of the differences and contributions of all colleagues.  The data will help us understand how to better align our workplace environments and operational functions with the values we espouse.

Below are links to the Cooperative Extension activities that help create a climate that welcomes and values all colleagues.
