College Days

This summer, have an education adventure, experience college life, stay in university dorms
and attend seminars taught by UW-Madison and UW-Extension faculty and community experts.
College Days will feature sessions covering a wide variety of topics of interest to all Wisconsinites.
As always, College Days will also provide the opportunity to enjoy tours of Madison area attractions,
evening entertainment, and early morning exercise programs.


Here’s a taste of the events you will enjoy at College Days 2012 …


Opening Session:
Michael Perry, humorist and author of the bestselling memoirs
Population 485: Meeting Your Neighbors One Siren at a Time
Truck: A Love Story

Coop: A Year of Poultry, Pigs and Parenting


Closing Session:
Mike Randal, Outreach Coordinator,
The Wonders of Physics Program, College of Letters and Science, Department of Physics


Entertainment:

Uncle Ozzie, one-man 10-piece band – country, swing, sing-a-long, polka, waltz
Jan Wheaton Duo
, one of Madison’s longtime favorite jazz songstresses


Morning Activity:

Pilates for Life, elegant motion and fluent mind with control, balance, flexibility, strength & coordination
Nature Walk in UW Arboretum – some of the world’s oldest, most varied ecological habitat restorations
