Lincoln County 4-H’er Creates Mural to Honor 100 Years of Wisconsin 4-H

Wisconsin 4-H Youth Development has been celebrating 100 years of positive youth development programming during the year. Recently, Jeza Kleinschmidt, a 4-H member in the Lincoln County Merrill Busy Bees 4-H Club, completed a mural to honor the centennial.

Tomahawk City Council passes Centennial Resolution

Thank you to members of the Tomahawk City Council for recognizing this important anniversary for Wisconsin 4-H and the contributions 4-H has had in your community. Lincoln County 4-H would also like to thank Caroline Lemke for her leadership in working with Mayor Clarann Stocker on the resolution, which was passed by the Tomahawk City Council at their July 1, 2014 meeting.

Our thanks to the City of Merrill Common Council for passing a resolution recognizing the Wisconsin 4-H Centennial last week! We are so grateful for your past support, and look forward to many more years of partnership in Lincoln County!

Merrill Busy Bees, part 3

The Merrill Busy Bees of Lincoln County round out their service projects by playing Easter bunny and distributing baskets to assisted living residents, and by collecting pop can tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House.

The Merrill Busy Bees in Lincoln County continued their streak of great service by making and distributing holiday cards, creating a snow sculpture and collecting glasses and hygiene products for the Good News Project.

The Merrill Busy Bees 4-H Club of Lincoln County volunteered at the June Dairy Breakfast, painted a barn quilt for the fair grounds and decorated a Christmas tree last year.
